A wonderful day in Japan should leave you with lasting memories—not simply tired feet.

At Nagasaki Private Tours, we specialize in private experiences that allow you to enjoy the places you visit at a pace that feels right for you. Comfortable transportation is an important part of that approach, which is why we place particular emphasis on private car tours.

For us, the journey between the sights deserves as much thought as the sights themselves.

More Energy for the Experiences That Matter

Many of our guests are in their late sixties, seventies, and eighties, including travelers in their mid-eighties. They bring curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire to discover Japan. Some also have concerns about long walks, hills, stairs, or simply how tiring a full day of sightseeing might be.

We take those concerns seriously. At the same time, we know that age alone does not tell us how someone likes to travel. Some guests enjoy plenty of walking; others prefer shorter visits and more opportunities to sit down.

Our aim is to understand what feels comfortable for you and plan accordingly.

Traveling by private car helps reduce the walking needed to move between attractions. It also gives you a place to sit and rest along the way, so you can save more of your energy for the experiences you came to enjoy.

Private Car Tours across Our Five Destinations

In Nagasaki, we offer both private tram tours and private car tours. The tram is an enjoyable option for guests who like exploring on foot and experiencing local public transportation. For those who would prefer less walking between sights and fewer transfers, a private car may be the more comfortable choice.

At our other four destinations—Kagoshima, Hiroshima, Kochi, and Shimizu—all of our tours are by car.

This focus reflects the way we want our guests to experience Japan: with comfortable transfers, personal attention, and less energy spent getting from one place to the next.

A Private Tour Gives You Room to Slow Down

Because your tour is private, you are not expected to keep up with a large group of unfamiliar travelers.

We can discuss a gentler pace, allow time for breaks, and consider which stops best suit your interests and comfort. Sometimes a shorter walk, a little longer to enjoy a view, or a quiet moment to rest makes the whole day more rewarding.

We do not measure a successful tour by how many places you can rush through. We want you to have time to appreciate where you are.

Tell Us What Would Make Your Day Easier

If walking is a concern, please tell us before booking. It helps to know how far you feel comfortable walking, whether stairs are difficult, and whether you use a walking stick, walker, or wheelchair.

A car tour reduces travel on foot, but it does not remove every walk, slope, or step at the places you visit. Vehicle access and the suitability of individual attractions also vary. Sharing your needs early allows us to discuss suitable arrangements and explain what to expect, including getting into and out of the vehicle.

Enjoy Japan with Comfort in Mind

You do not need to enjoy long walks to enjoy discovering Japan.

Whether you are traveling as a couple, with friends, or with family members who prefer different walking paces, we believe comfort is an essential part of a memorable private tour.

Tell us what you would love to see—and what would help you feel at ease. We will help you plan a day with thoughtful transportation, a comfortable pace, and time to enjoy the moments that matter.
